Traditional AASN Program
Application Procedure
Class size is limited and all
applicants may not be accepted into the program. Contact the program
office for information. Interested individuals are encouraged to seek an
advisor early in order to ensure that all prerequisite courses are
completed in a timely fashion.
Applications must be received by
October 1st
to be considered for admission.

Students must be admitted to Arkansas State
University (see University admission policy and procedures at
http://admissions.astate.edu )

Application for Admission: The College of
Nursing & Health Professions Associate in Applied Science in Nursing
application is required.

Official Transcripts: The department of
nursing requires that all applicants request sealed official copies of
transcripts for each college or university attended. The transcripts should
be sent with your application in the unopened envelopes. Transcripts must include grades on courses
taken in the last semester of enrollment (and evaluation of transfer work,
if applicable)

Students admitted will be required to
supply additional documentation, including current CPR certification,
Hepatitis B immunizations, TB skin test or chest X-ray, and up-to-date
tetanus.
Students who wish to apply for this
program should contact the Nursing office at the campus they plan to
attend, either ASU-Mountain Home, ASU-Beebe, or ASU at Mid-South
Community College in West Memphis.
