SCHOLARSHIP CRITERIA

JON A. LINDER/DOUGLAS JON SEITZ SCHOLARSHIP

ASU FOUNDATION, INC.

AMOUNT AND TERM OF AWARD:

Award up to $1,500 for tuition costs for fall semester, and up to $1,500 for spring semester (total of $3,000 for one academic year).  Award per semester and not annually.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR RECEIVING SCHOLARSHIP:

·         Single parent who is an Arkansas resident.

·         Student must have completed 50 undergraduate semester hours before being considered.

·         Must be a full-time student with a minimum 3.0 (3.00/4.00) cumulative grade point average.

·         Majoring in a degree program of the following:  (Listed in priority order)

Undergraduate

   College of Nursing and Health Professions

Communication Disorders

Nursing

Health Professions

   College of Education  (except Health, Physical Ed. & Sports Sciences)

Special Education

Educational Leadership, Curriculum, & Special Education

Psychology & Counseling

Teacher Education

College of Arts & Sciences

Criminology, Sociology, Social Work, & Geography

Graduate School

College of Nursing and Health Professions

Communication Disorders

Nursing

College of Education

All MS, MSE, MRC degrees (except MS and MSE in HPESS)

Other

Students with less than 50 undergraduate semester hours per the above priority listing

QUALIFICATIONS FOR MAINTAINING SCHOLARSHIP:

May be continued at the discretion of the donor if student continues to meet criteria guidelines.
